Dr Bramwell has written books for Penguin, Harper Collins and Dorling Kindersley, and remains a regular contributor to the Idler Magazine. Despite the namesake, he is not the author of Breakdance: Hip Hop Handbook: 1 or Medicinal Plants of the Canary Islands but wishes he was. He is however, the author of the following:

	Hard Words, a light-hearted guide aimed at upgrading the reader’s vocabulary with such gems as callipygian (possessing a fine pair of buttocks) or hypertrophic (abnormal enlargement of the organs).
	Fetish a beginner’s guide to all things kinky
	The Perfect Buzz (a guide to booze)

He has also written Timmy Mallet, the Unofficial Biography, now sadly deleted.
