It covers 2,500 years of pranks and mischief and comes complete with guest appearances, explosions and the odd live prank!
For those who missed it, It’ll be running again on Saturday May 25th 3pm, at Hendricks Carnival of Knowledge, Brighton Seafront.

A few odds and sods leading up to Christmas for those who are interested in such things.

There’s a lovely piece about Oddfellow’s Casino in the latest ‘Antidote to Indifference’ magazine, available from Caught by the River website, plus an article I’ve scribbled about Ghost Villages of England. I even made it as the cover star though, to be honest, I don’t think he got my chin right.

December 20th is the last Wellsbourne Society event for the year, themed around Dirty Weekends.

December 6th is a special one-off gig at the West Hill Pub in Brighton where myself and Sarah Angliss will be giving half hour lectures respectively on Postal Mischief and ‘An Enthusiasts Guide to Nuclear War.’ And yes, there’ll be a Christmas theme thrown in there somewhere.

David King claims to be 90% accurate with long term weather forecasts based on his reading of nature. Lovely fellow he was too; cooked us lasagne, offered his home made wine and made me look at a right Charlie over my total inability to recognise any tree beyond oak. For anyone interested, it should be available on iplayer listen again feature until the end of September.

This summer I’m delighted to be curating a new tent at Port Eliot Festival called the Odditorium, featuring esoteric and entertaining talks ranging from comic books and ghost trains to nuclear war and vaginas. If you’re planning to go, come and find us in the woods…
Also coming up are No9 Bus to Utopia and Postal Mischief talks at Nova festival, Wilderness Festival and Shambala throughout July and August.

‘A haunting and melodically beautiful album’ SUNDAY TIMES
It’s been two years in the pipeline but finally the third album by Oddfellow’s Casino is coming out on release in early January 2012. The artwork has been created by Stewart Armstrong and the album produced by Andrew Philips of Grasscut (Ninja Tunes). The first single, Winter in a Strange Town had its first play on BBC6 last week and we’ve got two new videos you can watch here: www.oddfellowscasino.com/video
The album launch party will be on February 23rd at the Hanbury Ballroom in Brighton. See calendar for more information.

On a different note, I’ll be presenting a documentary about the role of clapping in music on Friday, Feb 24th, 8.20pm or thereabouts, on Radio 3 which includes an interview with the minimalist composer Steve Reich and apple crumble-lover and musician Lorraine Bowen!

I shall be doing a set of Oddfellow’s tracks old and new, on the themes of hauntings, birds, death and Doncaster. We’ll also be showing the film Ballad of Oddfellow, made by Toby Amies and starring Dali model Drako Zarhazar, Atters, Heidi Heelz and myself, complete with a mixed Oddfellows soundtrack.
It’s also the night of the Royal Wedding so what better escape…
